DELMARVA FIRST FAMILIES
DELMARVA FIRST FAMILIES was reestablished in 2020.
The society’s purpose is to honor Colonial families of the DELMARVA who aided in the establishment of the colonies and who sacrificed their lives and fortunes; and to promote genealogical, educational and historical research; and to promote the preservation of history by donation; and to encourage camaraderie among the members and those of like pursuit.
For this association, the geographic area considered to be DELMARVA shall be: DELAWARE Counties: New Castle, Kent Sussex; MARYLAND Counties: Cecil, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Wicomico, Sommerset, Worchester; VIRGINIA Counties: Accomack, Northampton. The time frame considered for membership shall be 1 Jan 1614 to 31 Dec 1774.
